Out of the Blue Kindness

Yesterday I received a call from the receptionist at the front desk telling me that there was a delivery for me. I was curious as to what it was since yesterday was nothing special for me. No birthday, no anniversary, no promotion etc.

I took the long walk to the main desk and there waiting for me was a basket of flowers. Now I really was wondering what was going on. Could they be from J, my best friends or hmmmm....

I get them to my office and read the card. They were from a co-worker who sent them to congratulate me on my pregnancy. It was such a nice gesture. This co-worker doesn't even work in the same region as me, we work together because of the business line she is on but that's about it. She is one of my favorite people to work with but still the gift was such a great surprise. She made my day. :)

Out of the Blue Kindness is surprising and welcoming.
